How it Works after ghost immobiliser fitting
Pin Code entry
Before you can start your car, you need to enter a unique PIN code using your vehicle’s existing buttons, such as those on the steering wheel or dashboard.
CAN BUS COMMUNICATION
The Ghost communicates with your car’s computer system, verifying the PIN code and ensuring it matches the one stored in the system.
VEHICLE IMMOBILISATION
If the PIN code is incorrect, the Ghost will prevent the engine from starting and immobilise the steering wheel. So, nobody can steal your pride and joy.
NEW Pin-less entry SYSTEM
If you’re regularly getting in and out of your car throughout the day, it can be tiring entering your pin every time. We know because we used to do it about 15 times a day in our van on the way to and from installations. So, Autowatch UK Ltd, the manufacturer of Ghost, developed an add-on. This add-on involves a TAG device, which sends a special signal to your car. That signal is acts like a unique pin. In turn, when you start the car, in possession of the tag, it’ll work. Without the TAG or your PIN code entry, your car won’t start.
